Candace joined the executive team of SMRLS in December of 2023 and brought with her 30-years experience as a nonprofit leader. Her previous assignments include 25-years as a Development Director in the disability and k-12 education fields and 5-years as an Executive Director of a small nonprofit. She believes in leading with gratitude and approaches fundraising with an abundance mind-set. Candace is a Certified Professional Project Manager and a Certified Fundraising Professional. When she is not a work she enjoys travel, the Twin Cities theatre scene and making art.
