Keynote Speaker: Hon. Mark J. Kappelhoff

Minnesota's Fourth Judicial District

The Honorable Mark Kappelhoff was appointed to the Minnesota’s Fourth Judicial District in May of 2017. Before his judicial appointment, he was a professor at the University of Minnesota Law School. He has also worked as Special Counsel and Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Rights Division, Office of the Assistant Attorney General at the United States Department of Justice. 

In his keynote address, Hon. Kappelhoff will discuss his past role at the U.S. Department of Justice and the investigations he led in Ferguson, Missouri.
